Graphics 8./10- Same fun mario characters, all with the same colorful looks. The levels and minigames are a lot more realistic now

Gameplay 8.5/10- The gameplay is magnificent. There are many different ways to play mini games using the wii motes sensor feature

Music 8/10- Carnival music mixed with Mario. This music is brilliant and energetic which makes it all that much more fun

Overall 8.3/10- This game has set a new standard for all the previous 7 games. They added candy, which are like orbs, that can be collected throughout the party events. There can be 2v2 games, duel games, FFA games, you name it. One thing with MP8 (Mario Party 8) that really caught my attention were the new levels and minigames. The 8 unique levels all have different surprises, characters, and ways of earning a star. My most personal favorite level is Koopa Town. This level takes the most strategy and planning. You must outbid others on hotels, in this way, you earn stars. 20 coins in a hotel is one star, 50 coins is 2 stars, and 100 coins is 3 stars. The introduction of the Wii's sensor makes minigames a whole new enjoyment and new match everytime. If that's not all, in the EXTRAS ZONE you can actually use your Mii's in game and play a couple fun mini games. That's pretty sweeet.
